Our Vision, Our Voice

Our Vision, Our Voice is a FREE program for girls ages 13-17 who attend schools within the Rochester City School District. Participants with focus on in-depth hands on learning in digital photography, graphic design, writing, and production of a Zine. Girls will learn the skills needed to produce and print a three-color zine, from the ideation phase, content creation, final design, layout and production. In this program, students will discover a platform for creative self expression in a positive and uplifting environment, while learning essential digital skills that will prepare them for future college and/or work opportunities.

Additionally, participants will meet (either virtually or in person) local zine artist(s) and publisher(s) who currently use digital arts and technology in production of zines media for artistic and entrepreneurial endeavors.
