How to Use Your Flash

Many of us have a flash accessory but are not quite sure how to use it. In this class you will find out how to use your flash with your camera and what the different modes and settings are for. We'll cover the why and how of basic flash use, HSS (High Speed Sync), First & Second Curtain modes, and manual FEC (Flash Exposure Compensation). Required: a hot-shoe flash that is dedicated to your specific camera with TTL capabilities (for example, a Nikon flash for a Nikon camera. The flash does not have to be the same brand as long as it is made for your specific camera brand). Please bring the users manual for your camera and flash to class.
