Foundations of Print

Foundations of Print image
Did you ever want to learn the difference amongst all the kinds of printmaking: monotype, reductive woodblock, collography, screen printing, or dry point? In this short introductory crash-course, you will learn some of the history, the science, and possibilities of printmaking while watching demonstrations of monotype and woodblock, dry point, and screen printing. Throughout the course, you’ll participate in small projects to get a sense of each printmaking technique. With no experience required, this is a great way to discover the broad range of the ancient art of printmaking before exploring one in more depth. All materials will be supplied.
