This class will focus on the use of a hot-shoe flash for your DSLR. Have you ever taken a photo of someone where one side of his or her face is brightly lit while the other is darkened by shadows? Your flash can reduce this problem when properly used. We'll cover the use of HSS (High Speed Sync), First & Second Curtain modes, and manual FEC (Flash Exposure Compensation). Bring the users manual for the camera and flash to class. Required: a hot-shoe flash that is dedicated to your specific camera with TTL capabilities.
