Build on your binding skills while exploring hardcover book structures in this intermediate-level class. Students will learn to create the Flatback Case Binding (the classic hardcover book) and the Hardcover Long-and-Link Stitch. We'll also practice making our own bookcloth, endbands, and endpapers, and discuss historical and contemporary uses of these structures. Prerequisite: at least one introductory class at Flower City Arts Center or equivalent experience. Included: $10 materials fee.
