Wednesday Workshop: Japanese Stab Binding image
Japanese Stab Bindings have a rich, formal tradition that has developed over hundreds of years. These bindings are commonly characterized as having a decorative stitching at the spine. In this workshop, students will learn three variations of the Japanese stab binding: the four-hole (Yotsume Toji), tortoise shell (Kikko Toji) and noble (Koki Toji). Included: $10 materials fee.
