Linoleum Printing II: Reduction Prints
Reduction Linoleum Printing is a relief method where multiple colors are printed by layer from the same block. This is an intermediate level class for students with some linocut/woodcut experience who are looking to finesse skills to achieve quality editions. Students will learn the three methods of reduction linoleum printing and how to plan an image for each method. We will practice safe carving techniques, craftsmanship, registration, and printing on a Charles Brand press. Included: $25 for materials
