In this online class you will have the opportunity to share examples of your work, past or present, question their status and get feedback about ways to improve them or to go “one step beyond” with your photography in general. Expand your knowledge of photography and your camera through an in-depth analysis of technique, aesthetics, and history; and through shooting assignments, critiques, and discussing examples from famous photographers. Learn techniques related to the various areas of photography (portrait, landscape, close-up, documentary) and how to edit & sequence images for future use in a book, exhibit, or on the web. Required: students MUST know when and how to manually adjust aperture, shutter speed, and ISO.
