Hope Taylor is a multidisciplinary teaching artist from Clayton, NY who is currently based in the Western NY region. They earned an MFA at the Visual Studies Workshop in 2012 and have over 15 years of teaching experience in visual arts for all ages. Their work often incorporates a variety of processes including; drawing, printmaking, sewing, photography, painting, video, sculpture, collage, natural dyes and papermaking. Interested in patterns & cycles, Hope is tuned in to the teachings of the Earth and elements. Their studio research & writing practice is centered on the infinite possibilities of transformation, aiming to be of service to the tangibility of interconnection.
