Kylie Newcomer


Biography

Kylie’s relationship with Photography began in her high school’s darkroom where Bruce Elling taught her the art of 35mm black and white film photography. She went on to continue her studies in photography at the State University of New York College at Brockport where she earned a BFA with a concentration in Photography and minor in Art History. Currently, she teaches black and white darkroom photography to youth through the Studio 678 Photo Club program. Additionally, she teaches workshops to students of all ages such as Intro to Risograph Printing and Cyanotypes on T-shirts. Kylie’s current artistic practice primarily consists of producing digital photographs to be printed as cyanotype prints as well as risograph prints.
