Megan Magee Sullivan

2019 Printmaking & Book Arts Resident

Megan is a multi-media artist living and working in Rochester, NY. She moved to Rochester in 2010 to work on her MFA at the Visual Studies Workshop and has since made the city her home. She is a Teaching Artist in the Rochester City School District and is passionate about working with youth and encouraging them towards creative self-expression. She works in video, sound, photography, book arts and various sculptural forms to explore the enigmas of religion, memory, and family. Collecting images, sounds, and text is an integral part of her process as she works to repurpose the found in creating alternative narratives.
