This is a unique opportunity for collectors, clay enthusiasts and anyone who appreciates finely-crafted, handmade work to meet and talk with masters of the field and see a large body of their work. Help us welcome them to Rochester!

Tickets are $35 and include a handcrafted porcelain cup.

Tickets are no longer available.

1 Do I need to purchase Opening Reception Tickets in advance?

2 Do you have Covid-19 safety precautions?

We are still taking Covid-19 precautions seriously to ensure the safety of our community. Mask wearing and proof of vaccination is required to enter our facilities. Please observe social distancing guidelines. Anyone failing to observe these requirements will be denied entry or will be required to leave the Center if already inside. 3 What is the Flower City Arts Center?

We are a community-based not-for-profit that educates, encourages, and inspires all people to create and enjoy the visual arts. The Flower City Arts Center celebrated 50 years in 2020. Established in 1970, The Flower City Arts Center is located in a historic firehouse, constructed in 1895-1905 (Try to find evidence of the fire poles next time you're here!). We are the only community visual arts center conveniently located within the City of Rochester. In 1973, the Arts Center incorporated as a 501(c)3 not-for-profit educational institution. The Flower City Arts Center offers educational programs in a variety of visual arts with an emphasis on three areas: Printmaking & Book Arts, Ceramics, and Photography & Digital Arts. We produce youth programs, classes, and workshops, provide facilities to our studio artists, and exhibit work in our galleries. We collaborate with community groups for the benefit of all. Our photography, ceramics and book arts programs are available to community members of all ages, incomes and backgrounds.

4 If I cannot attend, can I still purchase work from the artists?

We will have personal shoppers available for 15-minute appointments on Sunday, October 23 from 10 - 11am EST. To secure an appointment, email kwhorton@flowercityarts.org.

Opening reception tickets are nonrefundable.

If you wish to withdraw from a workshop, you must cancel one week (7 days) before for a full refund minus a $20 registration fee. No refunds are given after this time. Refunds will be made within 30 days.

By attending the Flower City Pottery Invitational, you grant permission for you and/or your child to be photographed or filmed for this purpose. You must notify Flower City Arts Center's main office in writing regarding any restrictions.
