Art Ventures

Empowering the artists of tomorrow to flourish in a professional landscape while cultivating the essence of their creative vision!

Art Ventures is designed as a springboard for creativity and artistic innovation for artists ages 14-18 to build essential skills in creative workflow, brand development, design elements, financial literacy, and media methods.

Equipping participants to work actively toward self-directed, community-supported projects with a versatile skill set, Art Ventures will make space for creative momentum as we embark on a transformational journey in the visual arts!

Art Ventures integrates creative business development and studio practice. Connecting students to an expansive sense of community, the program will provide mentorship and networking opportunities with local arts professionals through visiting artist workshops. Program sessions will also include a diverse range of interactive studio demonstrations to build skills in traditional and contemporary print media techniques, including screen printing, bookbinding, block printing, papermaking, RISO printing, laser engraving, and more.

This program will meet on Mondays and Wednesdays from 4 - 6pm, beginning on December 18, 2023. Followed by a two-week break for the holidays, resuming on January 8, 2024.
