Cyanotype Animation

Learn how to create cyanotype animations from start to finish! In this workshop, we will take a 10-second digital video and turn it into a stop-motion analog animation. Students will learn how to export a video frame by frame, create a contact sheet, coat paper with cyanotype chemistry, expose using UV light, scan, and reassemble the animation. We will work with the fundamentals of Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, and cyanotype. Explore this vivid, textural form of video-making, and leave with a one-of-a-kind animation!
