Intro to Documentary & Non-Fiction Production

Video can take on many different forms: intro to Documentary And Non-Fiction production is a course for exploring the basics of theory and craft so you cant start producing your own video projects. Camera operation, basic video editing, interview and lighting techniques and other fundamentals will be taught and demonstrated. Students will have opportunities to film both in and outside of class, with guidance and feedback throughout the process. No high-end equipment is required. A smartphone, a DSLR/ mirrorless camera with video capability, or a basic video camera is sufficient.
