Essentials for Better Images
Do you know the basics of using your camera but want your photographs to have more impact? In this hands-on class, you’ll learn how to create stronger, more compelling images by understanding the fundamentals of composition. Explore the power of light and shadow, perspective, framing, symmetry, patterns, leading lines, texture, depth of field, movement, and additional design elements that bring photographs to life. Classes include short field trips, giving students the chance to put new concepts and techniques into practice right away to take better pictures. A basic working knowledge of your camera is required. Any type of camera is welcome.
