Glaze and Surface Explorations

This class is for those with some experience, who are ready to add a distinctive personal touch to their work. The first three classes will be spent talking about working in clay with surface in mind. The rest of the time will be spent in the glaze room working on developing surfaces with waxing and overglaze techniques. Feel free to come with bisqueware made outside of class time. This opportunity is perfect for that piece you've been sitting on, unsure how to glaze. The class fee covers 20 pounds of firing fees and Open Studio hours, but you must bring or purchase the clay body of your choice.
