Great Prints using Cyanotype & Van Dyke Brown Processes
Cyanotype is one of the first photographic processes ever used to capture an image. It is called cyanotype because of the lovely blue tones that are formed when image is exposed. At the George Eastman House there are cyanotype prints in the archives dating from the 1840s. Well use similar formulas and make hand coatings on paper, fabric or other media and explore the process with large format negatives or digital inter-negatives.
