Exploring Color in the Darkroom with Gum Bichromate

Exploring Color in the Darkroom with Gum Bichromate image

Gum Bichromate is an early 19th century photographic process that can produce beautiful, colorful and painterly images from analogue or digital originals. In this hands-on workshop, students will learn the basics of the Gum Bichromate process, how to prepare images in Photoshop, create digital negatives and how to coat, expose and develop prints with color. Students will leave the workshop with a gum print of their very own.
