Learn the lost art of hand coloring your black and white prints. You will use coloring methods with various archival tools, hand applying colors with oils, spot pens, pencils and watercolors. This workshop will also demonstrate shading and toning techniques. You can make your B&W prints come alive in a most subtle manner. Hand coloring is a time-honored art. Included: coloring materials are provided. Required: students must bring their own B&W silver gelatin photos printed on matte, fiber, or satin finishes for work with oils and pens. Can bring glossy prints for use with watercolors.
