Intermediate Darkroom Techniques

If you have already taken Go Retro and Stay Retro, or if you already have basic darkroom skills, this class will help you take your practice to the next level. This intermediate workshop is designed for black-and-white photographers eager to grow in the craft. Learn and refine techniques such as split-grade printing, flashing, development extension, dodging and burning, and gain greater control over your final prints. Explore fiber papers and discover how the right combinations of film and paper can dramatically enhance your images.

Basic darkroom experience is required.

Fee includes $20 for materials and full access to the darkroom for the duration of the class.
