Fine Arts: Watercolor Mini Intro

Beginner watercolor art classes are the perfect way to explore and express your inner artist. If you have never painted before or are looking for a refresher course, this class is for you!

This 2-session course will teach you various techniques, including paintbrush usage, color mixing, color application, masking, and more. Learn how to choose subject matter and find your unique painting style. This class is a warm and encouraging approach to painting with transparent colors.

Note: This class takes place in the MORNING, 9 am - 1 pm.

MATERIALS LIST:

(Please bring the following supplies to your first class. They can be purchased at Michaels, Rochester Art Supply, or online.)

• pencil + eraser
• 12" x 18" (or larger) cold press watercolor paper pad
• #12 or #14 round watercolor brush
• 3/4" flat watercolor brush
• watercolors, if already purchased (if not, wait)
• paper towel roll
