Intro to Woodcut Relief Printing
Woodcut block printing is the forerunner of linoleum printing. Learn to use the grain of the wood to create texture and mood in this exciting and ancient form of block printing. Through demonstrations and guided instruction, students will explore the process of image-making, carving, inking, and various printing techniques. Students will leave the class ready to print on their own. All skill levels are welcome! All materials provided. Included: $20 materials fee. Note: There is no class on October 14th.
