Fiber Arts: Intuitive Embroidery
Intuitive embroidery is a process that begins by learning simple stitches, engaging in meditative and creative exercises, discerning an image and pattern, and stitching a design. It’s a way of learning embroidery that does not rely on preset patterns.
This class begins by creating a sampler to learn how to do eight basic stitches. Students will then be guided in exercises to come up with a design and make a plan to complete an embroidered piece.
No experience necessary.
All materials provided.
