Saturday Stationery: Letterpress Notepads

Join us for the second in our series of “Saturday Stationery” workshops. In this workshop, students will design and print their own letterpress memo pads. This one-day workshop is a great introduction to basic typesetting, printing, and bookbinding! Each student will set a small line or two of text and be able to choose from our selection of image cuts to design their own stationery/memo pads. Students will print on the Vandercook press and bind the pages into pads with a chipboard backing, using the perfect binding method. This is also an opportunity to print on the handmade paper created in the previous “Saturday Stationery” workshop. No experience with letterpress or bookbinding necessary. All materials provided. Included: $10 materials fee.
