Lino III: Reduction Prints
Reduction linoleum printing is a relief printing method where multiple colors are printed by layer from the same block. This is an intermediate level class for students with some linocut/woodcut experience who are looking to finesse skills to achieve quality editions.
Students will learn safe carving techniques, craftsmanship, registration, and printing on a Charles Brand press. Students should come to class prepared with ideas or sketches for printing a 6” x 8” block.
All materials provided.
