In this 4-week beginning mold class, you will learn how to make plaster molds of patterns and textures, and how to use those molds to create original ceramic pieces. We will use the process of slipcasting and handbuilding with colored slabs to assemble functional or sculptural work. No previous mold-making experience necessary. Included: plaster, stoneware casting slip and 10 lbs of firing.
