Monoprinting

Monoprinting image

Monoprinting is a form of printmaking that creates one-of-a-kind images through the transfer of ink from one or more surfaces. Monoprints utilize a smooth solid surface and a variety of tools to achieve a full range of painterly possibilities, both additive and reductive.

In this class, students will explore best practices in printmaking while creating self-directed imagery for direct transfer to paper using a printing press. All materials will be provided.
