Paper Cut-Out Stop Motion

Bring your ideas to life frame by frame. In this hands-on class, you will learn the fundamentals of 2D stop-motion animation using paper cut-outs and other simple materials. Whether you want to create a heartfelt gift, tell a short personal story, or explore a new art form, this course offers a welcoming space to experiment and play. We will provide craft materials, camera stations, and access to audio, voiceover, sound effects and editing tools. After the first class, students are welcome to bring in their own materials or objects to animate. By the end of the course, you will leave with a short animated piece that is uniquely yours.
