Plant Potions: Plant-based Photo Intensive
This intensive course will examine a range of eco-friendly plant-based photographic processes that offer environmentally conscious alternatives to traditional darkroom chemistries.
Each week students will explore a different plant process including lumen, phytogram, anthotype and plant-based pigments, and herbal developers for both film and paper.
The class will go on one outdoor field trip to the Hamilton Street ‘Victory’ Garden to learn about permagardening, how to construct a sustainable photo garden and foraging best practices.
