Box Making: Portfolio/Postcard Box
Some objects deserve their own little box. When opened, this box lays flat. In this class, students will learn advanced skills in wrapping book board with cloth to create hinges. Students are welcome to bring buttons to use as clasps and should plan to bring a cube-shaped object (such as a beloved book) to the first day of class – the box will be custom made to fit that object. The object should be no larger than 12” x 12” x 5”.
No experience necessary.
