Intro to Adobe Premiere

Have you ever seen a video that just made you say, “Wow!” Ever thought to yourself, “I wish I could do that!” In this class, you will learn to use Adobe Premiere Pro, the industry-leading video editing software for film, TV, and the web. We’ll cover the basics: importing video, adding cuts, text, and audio, color correction, and a few tips and tricks to make your editing quick and efficient. Once the basics are covered, we’ll use what we’ve learned to do a few basic projects. Finally, the class will finish with each student completing a final project. By the end of the class, you will better understand the program and the resources to help you craft footage into polished film and video. Included (with reservation): access to the Digital Art Studio outside of class for the duration of your session.

Required: Students must bring a 32GB (or larger) external drive to class to store video files and have a video recording device (cell phones are welcome in this class).
