Slipware Decoration
This course will give students in-depth lessons on the many ways to decorate using slip, including sgrafitto, inlay, and slip trailing. You begin by learning handbuilding methods to make forms that are ideal for the decorative process; this is not a wheel class. Prior clay experience will be helpful, but not necessary. Included: 20 pounds of clay, access to slip, 20 pounds of firing, and Open studio hours.
