Bits & Baubles

With basic handbuilding skills, we will try to capture the magic of a perfect pebble from the beach or a strange figurine from the thrift store. Our projects will be divided into figurines, collections (think a jar of buttons, a bowl of shiny stones, etc), and trinkets. We will also have a "show and tell" portion where we share our inspirations and outcomes. The focus is on small-scale and multiples. Students are encouraged to come to the first class with a small collection of objects to get us started. This class is open to all levels including those without clay experience.
