Sports Photography

Get out to a game and improve your sports photography skills!

Instructor, Joe Territo is an award-winning photographer who began his professional career in 1984 with the Rochester Americans and now serves as the official team photographer for the Rochester Red Wings, a position he has held for over ten years.

This class is intended for anyone ages 14 and up who wishes to take better action pictures at sporting events. Learn the use of aperture, shutter speed, ISO, lens selection, composition, and how these important elements apply to capturing great action photos.

During a very special class field trip, students will be given credentials to photograph at a Red Wings home game with the instructor. The last class meeting will provide an opportunity for everyone to share and discuss their favorite images from the field trip or other sporting events with the class.
