Sports Photography

Learn how to improve your sports photography skills. This class is intended for young adults, parents, and fans who wish to take better action pictures at sporting events. Learn the use of aperture, shutter speed, ISO, lens selection, composition and how these important elements apply to capturing great action photos. During a special class field trip, students will be given credentials to photograph at a Red Wings home game with the instructor. The last class meeting will provide an opportunity for everyone to share their favorite images from the field trip or other sporting events with the class.

Joe Territo is an award-winning photographer who began his professional career in 1984 with the Rochester Americans and now serves as the official team photographer for the Rochester Red Wings, a position he has held for over ten years.
