Stay Retro

If you enjoy shooting with film and working in the darkroom but want more time to build confidence and refine your skills, Stay Retro is the perfect next step. This guided studio-style course offers extended darkroom access and personalized support.

Instructor Mark J. Watts will be available throughout to provide troubleshooting and advice on film, cameras, and shooting techniques. He will help you produce stronger prints and work more efficiently and comfortably in the darkroom.

Stay Retro is ideal for those who have completed our Go Retro class or have prior darkroom experience and are ready to advance their practice.

Includes: Darkroom access for the duration of the course.

Supplies needed: Film and photographic paper. An Ilford Starter Pack (25 sheets of 8×10 RC paper and 2 rolls of HP5 film) is available for purchase at registration, or students may bring their own.
