Stop Motion Animation
Jump into the world of stop-motion animation, one frame at a time! In this class, students will draw and assemble paper puppets and backgrounds and learn to animate them frame-by-frame. We will experiment with both narrative and non-narrative possibilities, covering the production processes of brainstorming, storyboarding, lighting, capturing, and editing, with demonstrations of stop-motion animation techniques and plenty of studio time. No previous animation experience necessary!
