Teen Wheel (ages 13 - 19)
This is a basic introduction to throwing pots on the wheel. In this 8-week class, you'll learn to center, pull a cylinder, and turn clay into beautiful cups and bowls. Katie will help you with the glazing process and guide you in adding personal touches to your work. You will even learn some handbuilding techniques to accentuate your work! The class fee covers 20 pounds of clay and firing, the use of studio tools, and open studio access.
