The Art of Photography Camp is a one-of-a-kind summer experience where young creatives explore the magic of photography! In this immersive camp, participants will experiment with darkroom and alternative processes like photograms, watergrams, pinhole photography, and cyanotypes—discovering exciting ways to create striking images without a traditional camera.
Campers will also visit our collaborator, the George Eastman Museum, where they’ll explore the innovative work of photographers like Anna Atkins, Liz Deschenes, and Edward Weston, drawing inspiration from their unique approaches to photography.
Guided by expert instructors, campers will harness light, chemistry, and creativity to produce their own one-of-a-kind photographic artworks. Perfect for curious minds and budding artists ready to dive into the world of alternative photography!
