Landscape Photography: Tryon Park

Join us as we explore and photograph the beautiful and varied landscapes of Tryon Park. Tryon is located just off of North Winton Road between Browncroft and Empire Boulevards but it feels like another world. Capture woodlands, streams, marshland and deep shale gullies at this hidden gem. We will learn about and discuss composition, pre-visualization, thematic generation skills and take multiple field trips to Tryon. We will also have time in class to share, critique and discuss your images. Required: Digital and/or film cameras of any format. You should have the ability to capture, edit and share your photographs (files or prints for informal critiques) with minimal technical supervision.
