Bookbinding: Tunnel Books
It’s a book. It’s a diorama! It’s both! In this workshop, students create both a maquette and a completed tunnel book. A tunnel book uses two identical accordion folded spines, facing in to provide the main structure. Images that have holes cut out in them are attached to the folds. The cut outs allow you to see through each page of the book to the page behind and are designed to give the structure depth.
All materials provided.
