Intro to Video Editing Workshop

If you are interested in learning how to edit video, this class will teach you how to import footage, structure an edit, match up sync sound, and choose the right settings to export your project using Adobe Premiere software. Students will get the chance to edit and work with raw video clips to learn and understand the workflow of a typical edit and gain an understanding of editing theory. The first class will focus on editing exercises with existing footage, and the second class will allow you to bring in your own footage to work with.

Please bring an external drive to save your work to. Any video left on the lab computers will be deleted. Our lab is equipped with Macintosh computers. If you would like to bring your laptop Mac or PC you can.
