VIVA! Short Course on Handbuilding (Ages 55+)

VIVA (Vitality in the Visual Arts) classes are open to adults 55+ who are interested in exploring the arts.

In this six-week class, you will learn different methods of working with clay using slab, coil, and pinch methods. Zara focuses on the handbuilding process from construction to the final step of glazing. Each session will feature a specific technique, and you'll have time to practice that skill while working on multiple projects. This class is open to absolute beginners; those with experience can work at their own pace. Included: studio clay and 20 pounds of firing, and open studio hours.
