Power to the Flower Appeal 2023

Hi Friends,

It has been 9 months since I became the leader of our City of Flowers at 713 Monroe Ave. It has been a fun, challenging, whirlwind adventure in a warm and connected community that I have come to love.

Flower City Arts Center, which has offered “Arts for All” for 53 years, is full of caring individuals who lift up and educate through the arts for people of all ages and backgrounds. We know that art transforms lives.

In our Firehouse Gallery in November, we exhibited original artworks of our team in a show called “The Fire Within”. Each staff member shared a bio and what sparked their interest in art. Reading their responses and learning more about them is what kindles my inner flame!

We cannot tend this fire alone. To stoke our impact, we chose this time of giving to ask you all to gather a few sticks to fuel the good works of our Center. We have an exciting vision to unveil in 2024, so come have a cup of cocoa, sit by the fire, and make something good.

We appreciate you and wish you Peace in this Season and a JOY-filled New Year. We all belong to this creative City, and together, we give POWER TO THE FLOWER!
