A Taste of the Arts: Expanding the Field Open House

Join us next Friday, September 15, from 4 - 6pm for a Taste of the Arts Open House at Flower City Arts Center for our Expanding the Field after-school program for teens.

We're opening our doors to high school students of color committed to earning a college degree in the visual arts. We offer FREE classes in Ceramics, Printmaking & Book Arts, and Photography & Digital Arts, as well as mentorship, open studio time, and portfolio development for college admissions.

Open House attendees can participate in round-robin art activities, making letterpress posters, handbuilding ceramics, and taking portrait photographs in our Lighting Studio! There will also be light refreshments and tours of our facilities. Applications will be available to sign up for Expanding the Field.
