Join us for the incredible photography opening of "Hija de la Gran Puta" fon October 2nd for First Friday! Free and open to the public 6 - 9PM. About the Artist: Erika Matías-De Jesús is a Dominican Republic born, Rochester, NY raised multi-faceted lesbian artist currently focused on film photography and alternative printing process. Edj is a believer of humans as a collective and thinks that taking pictures of people in between conversation is the best way to form a connection. Erika is currently an artist in residence at Flower City Arts Center, founder of the bilingual poetry group, “Lingual,” author of the poetry book, “Hija de la Gran Puta” and has had their photography exhibited in shows around Rochester, NY, such as the “Black Woman is Art” showcase and most recently Behind The Glass.
