We are excited to celebrate the work of our Studio 678 photo club students in collaboration with the George Eastman Museum's Gallery Obscura. The exhibition will feature an interactive poetry activity inspired by a selection of photographs made by Studio 678 alum. Admission is free for this event.
Studio 678, in its 28* year, is a free after-school photography and writing program for 6th, 7th, and 8th-grade students who attend school within the Rochester City School District. During this 28-session program, students learn how to use a 35mm film camera, go on field trips to take photographs in the community, write poems and short stories, publish a collaborative book, and exhibit their photographs in the community.
