
Joanne Price of Starpointe Studio in Kentucky will discuss the art of wood engraving as part of the 200th anniversary of the Erie Canal: “Canal Week”.
Wood Engraving was the primary method of including illustrations in books and newspapers in the early 19th Century. The development of the techniques will be discussed with examples of this unique form of printmaking.
