"Through My Lens" features photographs by artist Daniel Rothenberg. The exhibition has been extended to January 28.

Artist Statement: Alternative processes of photography have allowed me to explore a new side of my art. While I have always loved photography, at heart I am someone who wants to experiment. When I discovered the world of lumen prints and chemigrams I was hooked. This series shows my journey through alternative processes. While never actually using a camera I am able to tell stories with these images. My hope is that they will invite others to see a story as well.

Artist Bio: Daniel Rothenberg is an experimental artist from Rochester NY focusing in printmaking, ceramics and photography. After discovering his love of art in his early 20’s, Daniel graduated with a Bachelors of Fine Arts from Nazareth College, concentrating in ceramics and printmaking. At Nazareth he discovered his love for the world of abstract art and the many unique processes the art world offers. Daniel is a member of the Print Club of Rochester and has appeared in numerous exhibitions. He will be starting his residency at Flower City Art Center this December.

This event is free and open to the public. We look forward to seeing you at 713 Monroe Ave!
